After spending a few years working as a private client solicitor, Alison applied for a legacy officer position at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in 2015. Whilst at Battersea, Alison worked with a team of 3-4, managing a variety of cases. She also undertook CiCLA in order to build on her knowledge and gain a greater understanding of the world of Legacy Administration and how it differs from working in private practice. After around two years at Battersea Alison then moved over to WaterAid and took on their newly created role of Legacy Administration Manager. Alison has been working in this role for around 18 months and is the sole legacy administrator at WaterAid.
